Competency-Based Training

Competency-Based Training for Pilots

From the beginning of operations, APTA continues to adhere to our 3 Pillars of Excellence; Safety, Training & Integrity. With safety as the primary focus, we created and provided competency-based training and certification for our own pilots.

At the request of some of our clients, we have also provided training or workshops for their pilots/operators and employees in order to strengthen the skills of their entire team.

Understanding the industries need and desire, APTA’s sister company, Canadian Pilot Truck Training (CPTT) was founded to fill the need.

Canadian Pilot Truck Training

Canadian Pilot Truck Training (CPTT) provides training for Pilots / Escort Vehicle Operators within Canada.  CPTT has provided piloting training for Municipalities located along Alberta’s High Load corridor.

CPTT’s training process for students includes a combination of theoretical, online classroom-based training, and additional practical training.
